It’s the most wonderful time of year and Liberty is helping our military families celebrate the season! One of our favorite events is our annual Holiday Tree Giveaway, held in the Southwest Navy region.  

Liberty team members welcomed 300 families to come to our Community Services office in San Diego. Families were greeted by beloved Juggling Elf, Toy Soldiers, and the Train Conductor from Polar Express who entertained them and Liberty provided sweet treats and other refreshments for families to enjoy while they waited to visit the tree lot. Families then got the chance to pick out the perfect tree for their home and Liberty team members volunteered to help secure the trees so families could transport them home safely. Each family was provided a gift certificate for Papa John’s so they could decorate their tree without worrying about what to make for dinner.  

This is the 17th year that Liberty has hosted its Tree Giveaway in Southwest Navy, and it is always a favorite among both residents and Liberty team members. Liberty is thrilled to help make the season merry and bright for the military families who live in our communities.
