Liberty Military Housing (Liberty) hosted its second annual Operation Community initiative November 18 – 21, 2024. Recognizing that building strong communities is Core2OurMission, Liberty’s goal is to increase positive impact in the communities we serve. Through both in person and virtual volunteer work, Liberty team members displayed their commitment and exceeded the 2024 goal of 4,000 volunteer hours.
We are proud to announce that Liberty team members completed 4,400+ volunteer hours, which is an increase of positive impact on the local community by an impressive 230% compared to last year!
With activities such as helping with food distribution, writing letters of appreciation to service members, veterans, and first responders, making cards for children diagnosed with cancer, cleaning kennels at an animal shelter, cleaning up trash in public parks and beaches, and more, Liberty team members partnered with local organizations for their day of volunteering. Each team member was provided with up to eight (8) paid volunteer hours, and teams were encouraged to volunteer together.
