|

Infinite Hero announced the appointment of Philip Rizzo to the Foundation’s Board of Directors.“I’m pleased to welcome Philip to our Board of Directors,” said Courtney Janes, Executive Director of Infinite Hero. “As we look toward the future of the organization, it is especially important that our board membership reflect those we serve. Philip’s service to our county, his continued dedication to our military and their families, and his commitment to helping foster positive change within the veteran’s community speaks to the heart of Infinite Hero’s mission and goals. We look forward to bringing Philip’s invaluable leadership experience and perspective to our board.”

Philip J. Rizzo is the Chief Executive Officer for Liberty Military Housing and is responsible for the overall management and daily operations for the 36,000 home portfolio. Philip joined LMH after previously overseeing the operations for a residential portfolio of $2.8 billion in California and Hawaii. As a former soldier and the son of an officer, Philip is committed to serving the men, women, and families that Liberty Military Housing is privileged enough to call their residents.

Initially serving as an Intelligence Analyst in the USAR, Philip then completed advanced training at Fort Sill Field Artillery Training Center and joined the 1st Battalion, 12th FA Regimen, part of the 17th FA Brigade. After leaving active duty, Philip completed his BA in Economics, before earning his MBA from UCLA. Philip dedicates time to volunteering as a mentor for the Orangewood Foundation: Foster and Youth Community Services and Ranch Maintenance at St. Joseph Priory. Philip has five children, one grandson and lives in California with his wife of 29 years.

“I am honored to join the Infinite Hero Foundation to help further their mission of supporting our military heroes and their families. I look forward to expanding the work we have done at Liberty Military Housing in connecting military families with critical resources that can best support them and lift our entire military community. As a country, we owe a debt to those who have chosen to serve and sacrifice. The Infinite Hero Foundation’s support for these programs, along with their commitment to positive outcomes for those with service-related injuries, and their affected families, is necessary to honor that debt,” said Philip J.
