Liberty Military Housing is a proud partner of the Military Spouse Leadership Initiative (MSLI), a nationally-recognized program produced by the Association of Defense Communities (ADC), an organization dedicated to advancing issues that build strong military communities. This year’s cohort comprises military spouses who represent diverse ranks, branches, and duty stations.

Liberty senior executive leaders recently had the opportunity to meet with these military spouse leaders at a lunch and learn session focused on privatized military housing, hosted by the ADC. During the session, representatives engaged in a productive dialogue about the importance of “home” to military spouses and how privatized housing providers can better serve families’ needs. This session allowed cohort members to learn more about the purpose of privatized military housing, expanding their understanding of how providers support military readiness and creating common ground in shared priorities.

“This year’s Military Spouse Leadership Initiative cohort is extremely impressive,” said Liberty’s Chief Operating Officer, Gail Miller, after the session. “Each member offered valuable perspectives about the current spouse experience and the ways that housing providers can offer greater support to families as they navigate the challenges of military life. The discussion of shared experiences allowed us to discover opportunities to further collaborate and continue to deliver exceptional communities for military families.”
