Liberty Military Housing, the first employee-owned military housing provider in the country and the largest in the multi-family industry, is proud to announce the addition of Jon McKay as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. He will support the General Counsel in overseeing the company's legal functions.
Bringing 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy, Jon served with the Department of the Navy's Office of the General Counsel in various litigation and leadership positions. Most recently, he served as the Counsel to the Commander, Naval Air Forces. Jon began his legal career as an active-duty U.S. Navy Judge Advocate (JAG) and continues his military service in the Navy Reserve JAG Corps.

Jon holds a B.A. in American Studies from Eckerd College, a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, and a Master of Laws with a focus on environmental law from The George Washington University Law School.
