Dear Residents,
Liberty Military Housing is closely monitoring the Government shutdown, and we are aware that the U.S. Military may not receive pay or BAH while the Government shutdown is in place.
We want to assure you that you will not incur any late fees or penalties due to non-payment as a result of not receiving your BAH. In addition, for those impacted, rent will not be due to bring your account current until BAH allotments are reinstated and received.
If you are a civilian Department of War or other government employee affected by the shutdown and not receiving pay, please notify your District Office, and we will defer your rent until your pay resumes. For all other residents, rent will remain due as outlined in your lease agreement.
We will continue to provide the highest level of service for our valued military families.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your District Office.
Thank you, and as always, it is a privilege to serve those who serve.
Sincerely,
Philip J. Rizzo
