At Liberty Military Housing, we are proud to serve those who serve our country. In times of certainty and uncertainty, our team members are committed to providing military families with quality homes and exceptional communities.
We recognize that the ongoing Government shutdown has placed significant stress on the families that we serve, and we are doing what we can to alleviate that strain. Residents of Liberty communities will not be required to pay rent until their Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) has been reinstated and received. Additionally, residents will not incur any late fees or penalties due to rent non-payment as a result of not receiving their BAH allotments. There will be no interruption in service within our communities. Our offices remain open, and we will continue to provide our residents with all maintenance and community events.
In addition, we want to ensure that our residents are aware of the resources that are available to them during this uncertain time. More than 40 programs are available to assist military families with financial services, food insecurity, counseling, and beyond. The list can be found here and is regularly updated by Liberty team members.
Together, as a strong community of service members, their families, and supporters, there is no challenge that we cannot overcome.
