Ten years ago, in August 2014, Liberty team members voted and adopted our core values. Long before becoming an employee-owned company, these core values fostered a sense of ownership and alignment within our company. The core values chosen reflect the collective beliefs and priorities of our team members and our company.
For the past ten years, our fundamental values, our core values, have guided Liberty team members’ decisions and actions, providing clarity on what it means to truly make a positive impact on the military families we serve. As we honor the 10th anniversary of Liberty’s core values, we reflect on the importance of these guiding pillars, especially as an ESOP. The shared ownership our employees have in our company compels our core values to not just be buzzwords on a page, but a culture that we actively strive to create every day. Every year, we recognize team members who exemplify our core values as part of our Liberty Excellence (LEA) Awards to remind ourselves of their valuable service and the importance the core values play in our operations.
