FAQS

My home was impacted by the crash. When will I be able to enter my home?

NTSB is still actively investigating and control of the scene. Liberty, other agencies, and residents have not yet been cleared to access the street. Once access becomes available, we will further assess the clean up to ensure the safety of our residents and provide regular updates as more information is available.

When will updates be provided?

We are coordinating closely with the NTSB, FAA, San Diego Fire and Police Departments, Navy, various local government agencies, and local relief organizations, such as the American Red Cross, to ensure that every impacted military family has access to temporary housing and that their immediate needs are met with care and urgency. As information becomes available, our team will send out Red Flag notifications to the impacted residents.

"Back at the Navy Exchange, Liberty Military Housing workers walked through the parking lot, passing out food and doughnuts to evacuated families. The agency, which manages the Murphy Canyon properties, was working to help more than three dozen families find temporary housing."
