To Our Military Families and Valued Residents,
We hope you and your family are staying safe and feeling well. We know that there are daily changes in how the world is operating during this unprecedented time. In our commitment to communicating updates, we think this is a good time to share how Lincoln Military Housing is modifying its business practices and preparing to move forward, all while continuing to provide your family with exemplary service.
It is with safety in mind that more than a month ago, we suspended the performance of routine maintenance in occupied homes and closed our amenity spaces and offices to the public. During this time, we have taken significant measures to adhere to CDC guidelines and maintain social distancing. We have made every effort to use technology, such as virtual leasing and move-in walks, to continue to provide service in this new normal.
As we have learned much more about this virus, our teams have been working diligently to develop new processes and conduct training to ensure safety.
As one of our first steps towards reopening, starting as early as next week, we will begin to address routine work orders that were submitted in March, which we were unable to address at the time due to the pandemic. We appreciate your patience as we work through the backlog, and we will update you each week as we progress through the work orders. Our goal is to be caught up as quickly as possible so that we can begin to respond to routine work orders in the same timely manner as we have done for the last 20 years.
Here is what we are going to do to make sure it is safe for you and our team members if we need to complete work inside your home:
Implemented screening procedures for all LMH team members

Modified screen questions based on CDC recommendations for service requests. We will ask you these questions before coming to your home and again at your door. You should feel comfortable asking these same questions of our team members if you so choose. CDC-Based training and guidance for office and maintenance teams on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) developed by an Environmental Services Firm
Team members will wear proper PPE to include face coverings, gloves, and booties while completing work in the home
Continuing to suspend the practice of residents signing on our team member's mobile devices
The reopening of offices and amenity spaces will be determined by your regional management team as they continue to follow state and municipal guidelines. Residents can expect an update on their region-specific plans on or before May 15, 2020. Looking ahead, we can assure you that our teams will be ready to reopen the doors and perform work in your home with safety as a top priority for your family and our team members.
